Friends,

The following steps will help your group to be successful in Nubaceland….

1. Use the Functions of Government to establish your priorities. Which is most important? Which is least important? Be prepared to defend your answers

2. Take the 2010 Budget requests and categorize each item into a FOG category.

3. Discuss creative ways to generate revenue for a city (research usually helps here)

difficult questions.

Appx 900,000 citizens and appx $31,000 per citizen in income. Keep in mind that you will never take 100% of income tax… as State and Federal Gov't will get their share before City Gov't.

Hello Mayor, i to was wondering the current income, sales, and property tax rate is for newbaceland and and what is the total income. also what the population is? Also are you charging a flat, proportional or progressive tax rate?

What are the current tax rates(including kind), total income, and the public services currently being offered to the citizens? Also, how many people are on payroll in the local law enforcement facilities?

Another question of mine is, where is the urban decay and how much of the town has it? Also, do you agree to having section 8 housing replace the urban decay?

Not opposed to Section 8. The Decay surrounds the downtown area.
